Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. After 16 she decided to leave the school in order to focus in acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid who was certain she would be an actor. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a job as a model.

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC.
