Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a performance of the night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
