Alyssa Norman

Brockport's two-sport athlete was part of both lacrosse and female soccer squads. Norman, who played defensively on the team of Brockport's soccer, was widely praised as a superb player. As a defender, Norman excelled in blocking balls. She also made smart decision-making when it came the time to evaluate the offense of an opponent. As for this team, the Lady Lakers, this freshman will be a huge asset in the 2012 season. With her exceptional ball-defence skills as well as a solid mental stance, she is a great prospect to begin her first season with Finger Lakes. There is a good chance that her abilities will shine this season, since she is equipped with the skills necessary to stand out on the field at the more advanced level. Norman is currently pursuing her degree in the liberal arts and sciences.

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC.
